Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Last week I was eating dinner at Dras, normal evening, when the club director, Mitija came up to me dangled a new set of car keys in front of my face. There had been talk that I was going to be getting a new car but nothing was solidified and I was pleasantly surprised that this was taking place. Stella has been good to me, she is a little rough around the edges and has been around the block, but she always got me to where I needed to go and I was thankful to have her. Mitija informed me that this was his mother’s car and that I was to take very good care of it or I would have to face her, ha no thanks, let’s hope it never comes to that. He also told me that Stella was being passed on to our trainer, Amela who did not have a car. I then proceeded to ask what the car looked like, Mitija replied by saying to go out in the parking lot and click the unlock button (keyless entry: big upgrade from Stellaroo!) and it would light up. The anticipation was almost too much for me to handle! As soon as he left I bee-lined it to the parking lot hit the button annnnnd…this little blue beauty lit up. I honestly could not believe it, I started laughing out loud by myself in the parking lot. It is the complete opposite of what I was expecting. Not exactly the most stylish car on the road but let me tell you all of the fun perks that come with it.. -keyless entry -power steering -extremely spacious, much more practical for my 6’3” self -it takes diesel instead of regular, and in Europe diesel is cheaper! -awesome sliding doors -a CD player -working air conditioning -much more get up and go ;) I mean what more could a girl ask for, I’ve always loved mid size SUV type cars, my car at home is a Chevy Trail Blazer and my dream car is a Range Rover, so I am just one step closer! :)
Say hello to the newest member of my circle of friends. He is a 2007 Cinturon, made in France and given to me this past week. My previous car was Stella, a Polo.
